Undergraduate students
In the Faculty of Management and Information Science
at Shikoku University, all students select the laboratory
in the end of the first grade.
After that, they belong to the laboratory until their graduation,
if they don't want to change it.
About forty students belong to this laboratory.
Second grade students learn program languages for their studies.
Third grade students study about chaos, neural networks,
local area network systems or so on.
Some of them present their studies
in Shikoku-section Joint Convention
of the Institutes of Electrical and related Engineers.
Fourth grade students continue their studies for their graduation theses.
Their site is
here (Japanese Only).

Map
Left figures show Tokushima Prefecture, Japan.
Japan consists of four big islands and many other islands.
Honsyu is a biggest main island.
There are famous cities: Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and etc..
Shikoku is located at a southwest side of Honsyu.
Shikoku has four prefectures.
Tokushima prefecture (red area) is located at east area in Shikoku.
Shikoku University (yellow dot) is located at east end in Tokushima.
You can see the University on

Access
To Tokushima Station (Center of Tokushima City)
Tokushima Prefecture is located at the east side of Shikoku island in Japan. Tokushima City is located at the east end of Tokushima Prefecture. A nearest international airport is Kansai International Airport(KIX). It takes about two and half hours to get Tokushima Station from the airport. In Tokushima City, there is Tokushima Airport which is a local airport. It takes about fifteen minutes to get Tokushima City from the airport.
From Tokushima Station to Shikoku University
There is a bus terminal in the front of Tokushima Station.
From bus stop No. 1, you can get on a Naruto line bus(without via bypass).
From bus stop No. 2, you can get on a
Kawauchi-Matsushige line, Oh-asa line or Aizumi line.
You get off the bus at the bus stop "Shikoku-Daigaku-Mae"
where is near the east side entrance of Shikoku University.
In the case of by taxi,
please say only "Shi-ko-ku Dai-ga-ku Ma-De, O-ne-gai-shi-ma-su."
to the driver.
It means "To Shikoku University, please."
In either case, it takes about ten minute.
